As panoramas are made from a number of high quality images - amount of detail is simply stunning. It can also show much more of a scene than it is possible with a regular photo. Because camera turns progressively with each exposure, it can "see" a much wider scene than a single shot - even when done with a wide angle lens!


VR (Virtual Reality) panoramas are 360-degree viewing angle images for use on Web sites and computer-based presentations. Some are just a "look around", while another type, a "spherical panorama" gives also an option of looking up and down, covering all possible viewing angles.
Such panoramas can be even used to create whole "virtual tours", where viewer can virtually move from room to room, and see all around a given place, using computer mouse for navigation.
